About us

Our members are Chief Executives, Managing Directors, General Managers and Country Managers of New Zealand businesses who are committed to becoming better leaders on health and safety.

Health and safety managers from our member business are closely involved in Forum activities.

Forum members recognise that as leaders of significant businesses, they influence how health and safety is valued and delivered across New Zealand. They know that if more of them demonstrate that leadership, then New Zealand’s health and safety performance must improve.

The Forum was set up to promote and support safety leadership in New Zealand. Our strategic plan sets out our work programme to achieve this.

The Forum was launched in June 2010 by Prime Minister John Key.
