Better Bow Tie Methodology Tackling Work Related Noise Injuries - 27th August Auckland

The Business Leaders’ Health and Safety Forum is pleased to invite you to a practical workshop at a main centre near you. These workshops are an opportunity to dig into:

  • Better bow ties – hear from international bow tie specialist Paul Haydock as he shares useful tips and tricks on how to get the most out of using the bow tie model in your organisation
  • Work-related noise – give and take; understand how other Forum members are understanding and controlling noise as part of the Forum’s ‘What’s your noise problem?’ challenge.

Bow ties are increasingly being used by organisations big and small as a risk management tool. To help Forum businesses get the most out of the risk methodology, we are delighted to host CGE’s Risk Management Solutions’ Paul Haydock in New Zealand in a series of applied sessions with the support of Coachio Group.

Paul will work through a series of exercises on how to use the bow tie method successfully, and also share some insights into avoiding common traps.

We will use the final part of the workshop to focus on a specific work-related health risk – noise. Please come along willing to share your experiences in how your senior leaders have approached understanding and managing work-related noise in your business. This short and sharp peer sharing session aims to identify practical lessons (both successes and challenges), which we can share more widely across the Forum. Many thanks to the National Foundation for the Deaf for supporting this work.

We look forward to seeing you in late August.
