Better Bow Tie Methodology & Tackling Work Related Noise Injuries - 28th August Wellington

The Business Leaders’ Health and Safety Forum is pleased to invite Health and Safety Managers to practical sessions in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch on:

  • Bow ties – learn useful tips and tricks on how to get the most out of using the bow tie model in your organisation by international bow tie specialist Paul Haydock
  • Noise – an opportunity to discuss the Forum’s ‘What’s your noise problem?’ challenge with your peers and how noise is being managed in your organisation.

Along with Coachio, we’re delighted to host CGE’s Risk Management Solutions’ Paul Haydock in New Zealand in a series of applied sessions to help you get the most out of the risk analysis methodology known as the bow tie. Paul will work you through a series of exercises on how to use the bow tie method successfully, and also share some insights into avoiding common traps.

With the launch of the Forum’s CEO Challenge around noise, we’ll then work through how H&S Managers can discuss this risk at a senior level, and look at controls, other than PPE, to successfully mitigate this risk. Please come to this session willing to share your experiences to date, including both positive and unsuccessful outcomes. Many thanks to the National Foundation for the Deaf for supporting this work.

We look forward to seeing you in late August.
