Supporting your CEO to become a better H&S leader

Workshop for H&S managers - 7 Nov 2017

This workshop aims to help senior health and safety practitioners develop their ability to enable and support their CEOs, senior executives and directors to become better leaders of health and safety.

The workshop will explore the Forum's CEO Safety Leadership model, which includes eight key practices used by world-class safety leaders. It will also explain the Forum's 360 CEO Safety Leadership assessment, which helps leaders understand and benchmark their current practice so they can identify their strengths and opportunities for improvement.

The model and assessment are cornerstones of the Forum's Executive Leadership Programme. So the workshop will be particularly useful for senior practitioners whose CEOs or general managers have participated in, or intend to participate in, the Forum programme.

This event is an opportunity to familiarise yourself with the concepts and leadership language your leaders are exposed to during the programme. It will help you have better conversations with them after the programme, and better support them to put these concepts into practice in your organisation.

It is also an opportunity for the Forum H&S Manager/practitioner community to come together to share practices and thinking on supporting better leadership of health and safety.
